Wow, what a week it’s been…

Tibet supporters from all
over the world have been participating in actions against InterContinental
Hotels Group (IHG) over its plans to run a luxury hotel in Lhasa.

From Delhi to New York, Melbourne to Mexico City; more than 20 IHG hotels were
scenes of peaceful demonstrations on behalf of the people of Tibet. There were
two protests in the company’s home town of London, England including at the
World Travel Market at the ExCeL Centre (click
on the video link above)
.

By opening a ‘Lhasa Paradise’ hotel, IHG ignores the lack of human rights for
the Tibetan people, and offers a complimentary PR boost to the Chinese
dictatorship.

Despite the increased media attention that we’ve achieved, IHG is still
ignoring the cries for freedom and human rights. So the campaign continues.

Successfully challenging a company which enjoys a $20bn annual turnover will
require many more inspirational weeks such as this one. That’s why, as the
campaign goes worldwide, we need your support more than ever.

Please donate now and
help us to continue to challenge this global giant
